Dolly Wink by Japanese model, Tsubasa Masuwaka has recently renewed the packagings for their eyeliners and sharpener ! The concept of the line is mature, yet, girly look and this is its third renewal. The previous design looked retro and pop and was decorated with daisy flower patterns. It also felt "younger" in a way. The new design, however, feels more mature, girly, and elegant thanks to the addition of the pretty, detailed lace-like or victorian pattern. Color-wise, everything feels softer and stand out less.
Liquid Eyeliner III - ¥ 1,296 (approx. $12.80)
Deep Black and Dark Brown
I really like how they changed the purple-ish pink to a pastel, softer one ! The purple one looks really cute too.
New Addition:
- Added 3 more moisturizing liquid ingredients into its existing Honey Extract: Hyaluronic Acid, Chamomile flower extract, and Grape leaf extract. Adds more moisture care to skin !
- Stronger Smudge-proof - The new formula claims to settle and stay better on the skin
Pencil Eyeliner III - ¥ 972 (approx. $9.60)
Black and Brown
They removed the flower pattern completely and the daisy cap top with detail lace pattern on the cap. It actually really reminds me of Anna Sui products packaging.
New Addition:
- New Moisturizing Ingredient added - Jojoba Oil is added to the formula for extra care of the soft skin of the eyes area.
Pencil Sharpener - ¥ 432 (approx. $4.25)
I think they only changed the plastic packaging and removed the daisy from the sharpener design. The frame and butterflies on the new design makes it look more sophisticated and elegant.
